1 dead, 1 injured in Quincy shooting
QUINCY — A shooting in Quincy over the weekend left one dead and another injured.
The Quincy Police Department responded to a report of shots fired about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Officers found a dead male at the scene and another male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the QPD.
The injured male was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are trying to find “a third outstanding individual.”
“Preliminary information is the three individuals are known to each other, and there is no gang involvements,” stated the QPD in a release.
The shooting is currently under investigation. The names of the two victims have not been released to the public.
