Feb. 17

Report of one-vehicle accident at 3918 East Broadway Ave. Driver of the vehicle was attempting to turn a corner and slid off the road, running into a utility pole. Driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Report of one-vehicle, hit and run accident in the 1100 block of North Grape Drive. Unknown driver apparently slid off the road and hit a fire hydrant, which was broken off at the base. The driver left the scene.

Report of theft and fraud in the 8000 block of Northeast Harris Road. Reporting party said a gift card was stolen from her mailbox and used at a local business.

Report of theft from a business at 500 South Pioneer Way. The alleged thief left before law enforcement arrival and is described as a white female in he mid-30s, wearing a green coat, camouflage leggings and black Nike shoes.

Report of vandalism in the 1700 block of West Peninsula Drive. Reporting party said someone had damaged his car with scratch marks sometime in the last three weeks.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of cellphone stolen sometime while the owner was working at the warming shelter.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 911 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2.

A 22-year-old man was cited for DUI after he was found to be under the influence of marijuana. He was released to a family member.

Feb. 18

A 27-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violating a protection order.

A juvenile, no age given, was arrested for second-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 415 East Fifth Ave. Driver of vehicle 2 passed vehicle 1 while traveling west on Fifth Avenue, switched lanes and then slammed on the brakes, causing a collision. Driver of vehicle 2 was cited for reckless driving, following too closely and driving without insurance.

A 26-year-old man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Alder Street and East Third Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 was making a left turn onto Alder and hit vehicle 2 which was driving through the intersection.

A man, no age given, was arrested for trespassing after he was asked to leave a public building at 418 East Fifth Ave., returned and fell asleep in the bathroom.

Report of theft from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Thieves pushed a cart full of merchandise from the business, but were later found at a home on Canterbury Street. The stolen items were recovered; estimated value $1,000.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly trying to start a fight with a volunteer at the warming center.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for second-degree malicious mischief, third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and four counts of third-degree malicious mischief after he allegedly tagged homes, a vehicle and mailboxes with gang graffiti in the 1400 block of West Marina Drive. He was arrested by the Grant County Sheriff's Office for DUI during a traffic stop.

Feb. 19

Report of an attempt to egg cars at a home in the 2100 block of West Basin Street. The eggs missed all the cars.

A man, no age given, was arrested for attempting to intimidate law enforcement after an incident in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue. The man, highly intoxicated, claimed he was buying an apartment in the area and threatened to kill officers.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree burglary after she allegedly attempted to steal items from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way.

Feb. 20

A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding warrant after he was stopped riding a bike at the intersection of North Grape Drive and West Oregon Street against traffic and without a light on the bike.

Report of theft from a business at 1020 North Stratford Rd. Two males took boxes containing unknown merchandise from the loading dock. Suspect car is described as a dark colored four-door with gray chevrons on the hood.

Report of one-vehicle accident at a business at 504 West Valley Rd. Reporting party said an unknown vehicle hit and damaged the storage shed sometime overnight.

Report of theft. Victims from Othello said they had visited a business at 911 North Stratford Rd. earlier in the day and realized a purse was stolen from the car after they got home.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

Report of assault in the 300 block of South Division Street. Victim said a man approached him, demanded repayment for a debt and hit him in the face. Suspect left in a maroon van.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 was pulling out of the parking lot and hit vehicle 2, driving on East Wheeler Road.

Report of theft from a business at 525 North Stratford Rd. Suspect, a 26-year-old woman, purchased merchandise at the shop and stole the tip jar on her way out. The woman was found at her house and officers found controlled substances in the house. She was booked for possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for three outstanding Grant County warrants.

Arturo Rosas Arteaga, 46, Basin City, was booked into the Grant County Jail for second-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding Franklin County warrant for residential burglary and harassment.

Evan Evans, 54, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of methamphetamines and heroin and outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for DUI and hit and run, unattended vehicle.

Lois Perkins, 50, no fixed address, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree theft.

Trisha Ricks, 29, no address listed, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Timothy Matthews, 61, no address listed, was booked on a GCDC commitment order for DUI.

Antonio Gonzalez Martinez III, 26, Warden, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and probation violation.

Sarah Stromberg, 36, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), outstanding GCDC warrants for DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license, and outstanding Adams County warrants for violation of a no-contact order and third-degree driving with a suspended license and without required ignition interlock.

Stephanie Jackson, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft.

Feb 21

Tommy Salinas, 26, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Charlotte McGinnis, 30, Grand Coulee, was booked for second-degree burglary.
