MOSES LAKE — A woman was arrested over the weekend after allegedly exposing herself inside a Moses Lake movie theater.

Denae L. Suhr, 31, of Moses Lake, allegedly walked into Fairchild Cinemas, 233 N. Block St. in Moses Lake, about 9:45 p.m. Sunday night and asked a female employee for another employee’s phone number. The employee reportedly walked away and upon her return discovered Suhr had unzipped her coat, exposing her breasts, according to police records.

Moses Lake Police Department officers arrested Suhr and she was booked into the Grant County Jail for indecent exposure. Suhr was reportedly contacted earlier in the day by police after a passerby reported she was walking topless down the Alder Street Fill about 10:55 a.m.

She was detained and reportedly not “coherent” and “could not answer basic questions,” according to police records. She was taken into custody and transported to Samaritan Hospital for a mental health evaluation and later released.

Suhr previously entered a guilty plea to unlawful imprisonment in August in Grant County Superior Court and was sentenced to 60 days in jail after taking a 5-year-old boy from outside of his Moses Lake residence in late May. Suhr lured the boy from his Knolls Vista Drive residence and walked several blocks with him to Neppel Park. When asked by an MLPD officer why she took the boy, Suhr responded by stating, “we are at war.”
