School facilities are a smart investment

We support the Moses Lake School District construction bond and hope others will join us in supporting education and economic growth in our community. We are proud to live in Moses Lake and appreciate the great education our three children received here, which allowed them to fulfill their dreams. We want that same educational success for our grandchildren and for all children in our community. Our daughter was a teacher in MLSD for many years, and we saw how overcrowding and portable classrooms made teaching and learning even harder. We believe new facilities are a smart investment to create quality learning environments that will prepare students for future challenges. Passing this bond will also help us attract and retain top-notch teachers as well as businesses that seek to expand in a community that invests in its future workforce.

Now is the time to come together and show our students and teachers that we stand behind them. We need to reach 60/% yes votes for this bond to pass. Have a heart and show your love for our students and our community’s future by voting “yes” on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
