WILSON CREEK — A disagreement between school staff and parents of a student triggered a lockdown on Thursday at Wilson Creek School.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance at the school about 12:40 p.m. The school was put into a hard lockdown because of the disturbance. The lockdown was later downgraded to a soft lockdown about 1:30 p.m. and was eventually lifted about 3 p.m.
“No arrests were made and there was never any credible threat to staff or students,” stated the sheriff’s office.
