Rojelio (Roy) C. Gonzalez

Roy was born on July 5, 1942 to Ermila Cervera and Jesus P. Gonzalez in Bay City, Mich. Roy married the love of his life, Mary, on Sept. 1, 1963. Roy and Mary were lifelong residents of Moses Lake, Washington.

Roy is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary and by sons Marcos, James, Angel I and Angel II, as well as his mother Ermila, father Jesus and sisters Amelia and Lydia Gonzalez.

Roy is survived by his children and spouses Rogelio T. Gonzalez Jr. and Marina Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, Steve and Mona Gonzalez of Spokane Wash., Leroy and Heather Gonzalez, daughter-in-law Laura Gonzalez and daughter Melinda and Edwardo Garza, all of Moses Lake, Washington.

Additionally, he is survived by 20 grandkids, eight great-grandkids and his siblings Jesus Gonzalez Jr., Edwardo Gonzalez, Amelia Whitlock, Obdulia Maybee, Angelica Moreno, Rolando Gonzalez, Leo Gonzalez and Lydia “Elsa” Merservy, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, officiated by Father Jorge.
