PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF VACANCY - BOARD OF DIRECTORS Due to the expiration of term of office for a Director of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, candidates are being sought to fill the position by appointment. The expiring position is for Director of Section 3, which covers the portion of Grant County lying easterly of State Highway 17, southerly of State Highway 28, and including the High Hill - Dry Coulee area. The term of office will be for four (4) years and will begin March 1, 2018. All persons interested in appointment to the board and residing in Section 3 must make a written application that includes the signatures of at least ten registered voters residing in Section 3. The written application must be filed at the office of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, 32 C Street NW, Room 321, Ephrata, Washington, prior to 4:00 pm on January 17, 2018. INVITATION TO BID In accordance with Title 70, Chapter 44, Section 140 of the Revised Code for the State of Washington. Samaritan Healthcare hereby gives public notice of the need for materials and work for construction that conforms to all applicable public works requirements including the requirement to pay prevailing wages. As allowed by code, Samaritan hereby invites tenders of a construction bid to be based upon drawings and specifications that meet the requirements contained in the Contract Documents supplied by Samaritan. Sealed bids will be received by the Samaritan Healthcare for a fixed stipulated lump sum General Contract, including all General Mechanical, Electrical, and associated work for the construction of the: A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan 9th, 2018 at 2:00pm Pacific Time. Meet at the Plant Services office on the main floor for the pre-bid walkthrough. Bid Guaranty: Bidder shall submit with its bid either a surety company bid bond on a form provided by Samaritan Healthcare in the Bid Documents, or a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the Samaritan Healthcare, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid including alternates. Bids not accompanied by an appropriate bid guaranty may be rejected as non-responsive. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the bid submission deadline, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days from the bid submission deadline.
