Prep roundup: Moses Lake routs Bethel at TTC
WENATCHEE — Moses Lake outscored Bethel in every quarter and won 65-36.
The Chiefs led 32-19 at halftime and pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Bethel 20-7.
Kyle Karstetter poured in a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Evan McLean posted a double-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and Zach Phillips added 14 points. Cory Kunjara rounded out the Chiefs in double figures with 11 points.
Moses Lake locked down defensively on the perimeter and held Bethel to 1-of-11 from three and 32.6 percent from the field.
Moses Lake travels to Arizona this week for the three-day Scorpion Challenge.
Okanogan 76, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 49
COULEE CITY — Almira/Coulee-Hartline could not recover from a slow start and lost to Okanogan 76-49.
The Warriors trailed 32-13 at halftime.
Maguire Isaak scored a team-high 15 points.
Girls basketball
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 39, Okanogan 34
COULEE CITY — Almira/Coulee-Hartline punched up to play Class 2B Okanogan and won 39-34.
The Warriors led 20-17 at halftime and outscored the Bulldogs by two points in the second half.
Gabi Isaak posted 17 points and Sarah Bradshaw scored 10.

Toppenish 47, Othello 21
TOPPENISH — Toppenish’s depth was too much for Othello in a 47-21 loss.
The Wildcats won 10 matches to build a comfortable lead early.
The dual was tied 3-3 after Othello’s Chris Melo (113) defeated Gonzalo Aleman 10-4.
However, Toppenish won nine of the next 10 matches.
Levi Garza (145) broke up the Wildcats’ dominance with a pin of Adrian Villanueva. DJ Guzman (220) and Isaiah Perez (285) also won by fall.
Othello hosts Ephrata on Jan. 4.
