Business license fees due
The City of Othello mailed out the 2018 business license invoices on December 15th, 2017. This is a reminder to our business owners that the annual business license fee is due by January 31, 2018.
If not paid by January 31, 2018, a delinquency charge of twenty percent (20 percent) will be assessed on February 1st and forty percent (40 percent) per month until paid (OMC 4.04.060). The City also has the authority to terminate or deny water and sewer service to any property that has a business or occupation failing to pay a current business license fee.
Also please be sure to advise the City of Othello as soon as possible if you have received an invoice for your business and you are no longer in service or will be renewing your license at a later date to avoid further charges.
