Missing Marlin teen found safe and sound

MARLIN — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said on Tuesday that a missing teenager from Marlin has been found and is safe.

On Dec. 13 the sheriff’s office sought help from the public in finding 15-year-old James Friend, who was last seen in Marlin, his hometown, on Dec. 2. Friend had not spoken with his friends or family since he was seen and was not communicating with anyone via social media, which the sheriff’s office said was out of character.

No information was released on when or where Friend was found.
