An 18-year-old woman was arrested for theft after she allegedly attempted to conceal merchandise at a business at 640 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of mail theft at a residence in the 2000 block of South Beaumont Drive. Reporting party found mail from six apartments in the neighboring building.

Report of graffiti at a residence in the 200 block of North Dale Road.

Report of bike stolen sometime the previous day from a residence in the 4200 block of Northeast Airway Drive.

Report of graffiti on a storage building in Knolls Vista Park, 411 N. Vista Dr.

Report of mail theft in the 1100 block of South Ashley Way. Mail was stolen from apartments at the complex next door.

A 67-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants after a traffic stop.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 518 W. Valley Rd. Vehicle 2 was parked at the gas pump; driver of vehicle 1 backed up and hit vehicle 2’s front bumper.

Report of disturbance in the parking lot at a business at 960 N. Stratford Rd. Male suspect allegedly approached the victim in the parking lot and began arguing with him. A second man saw the confrontation and pushed the male suspect to the ground. The male suspect and the victim were trespassed from the business.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for theft after allegedly attempting to conceal multiple items in her purse.

Dec. 18

Report of mail theft at North Central Drive and North Evelyn Drive. Mail was found scattered along the side of the road and returned to its owners.

Report of stolen vehicle at a residence in the 800 block of East Lark Avenue. Vehicle is described as a 1999 Buick four-door sedan, license number WA 934URS.

A 44-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and first-degree driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop.

Report of stolen vehicle at a residence in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue. Vehicle is described as a 1997 Honda Accord sedan, license number WA BHZ4277.

Report of theft from a vehicle. Victim said thieves stole video games, video game parts and a tool box, but she wasn’t sure if it happened at her residence or at work.

Report of theft at Moses Lake High School, 803 E. Sharon Ave. Student left her phone in the bathroom and the phone had been taken when she went back to retrieve it.

Report of two-vehicle, injury accident at West Valley Road and North Stratford Road. Driver of vehicle 2 was stopped, waiting to turn left, and was rear-ended by vehicle 1. Both drivers taken to Samaritan Hospital.

Report of credit card fraud at a residence in the 4300 block of Northeast Grape Drive. New card was stolen from the victim’s mailbox within the last few days. Fraudulent charges of about $25.

Report of assault at a residence in the 800 block of North Vista Drive. A juvenile male was arrested.

Report of attempted check fraud at a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown male suspect tried to cash the check and ran away when it was declined.

Report of attempted vehicle theft in the 200 block of North Wellington Street. Reporting party was sitting in her car, with the garage door open, when an unknown male subject attempted to open the door. Reporting party screamed, tried to back up and honked the horn, and the man fled, along with a second man who appeared to be a lookout. The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, sores or scars on his face, wearing a black hat with NY logo.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 700 block of South Grand Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 hit a parked vehicle. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for improper lane travel, no car insurance, expired vehicle registration and failing to transfer title.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A man reported that he came home to find his back window open.

A woman reported that her daughter was angry and tried to break her bathroom door.

A business reported graffiti on the outside of its building.

A woman reported that a burglary had occurred about an hour earlier.

A woman reported that her children’s father jumped in front of her car and she hit him inadvertently.

A man reported mail stolen.

A man reported that his ex-wife’s boyfriend assaulted his child.

A woman reported a 5-year-old girl running around alone.

A vehicle was reportedly taken from a golf course.

A woman reported receiving death threats by phone.

A woman reported that items had been stolen from her front porch.

A man reported tools stolen.

A man reported his residence had been broken into.

A man reported his mail and credit card stolen.

James Bortz, 49, Ephrata, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for second-degree criminal trespassing, obstruction and making false statements to law enforcement.

Brandon Esparza, 22, Moses Lake, was booked for allowing an unauthorized person to drive a motor vehicle.

Brianna Vasquez, 30, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Brian Speed, 40, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Brian Crothers, 57, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Ernesto Sanchez Aguirre, 25, Quincy, was booked for alien in a possession of a firearm, DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Adam Pachosa, 24, Grand Coulee, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Lorna Villanueva Ozuna, 18, Moses Lake, was booked for MIP, obstructing law enforcement and third-degree theft.

Robert Hawkins, 32, Ephrata, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Kevin Gudde, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Dec. 18

Elmer Field, 44, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of controlled substances and first-degree driving with a suspended license.

Thomas Redwine, 34, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections order.

Brandon Terwisscha, 30, Soap Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for making false statements to law enforcement and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Timothy Abell, no age listed, Coulee Dam, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Lincoln County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Margarita Corral, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for obstructing law enforcement and making false statement to law enforcement.

Luke Melgren, no age listed, Ephrata, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for second-degree attempting to take a motor vehicle and DUI.

Anatoloi Shtyba, 32, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
