Dec. 15

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 11800 block of Wheeler Road. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2.

Report of vehicle theft and property damage at a business in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. Unknown suspects broke into the locked parking lot, stole a truck and drove it through the fence. The suspects left about 60 feet of fencing in the road. The truck is described as a white 1989 Kenworth T800 water truck with ‘ACI’ in red lettering on the side of the truck, with Washington license 17V0180992.

Report of vehicle theft in the 1900 block of West Spruce Street. Victim said his truck was stolen sometime overnight. The truck is described as a white 2015 Ford F-150 with a chrome tool box, Washington license DP49866.

Report of theft from a business at 1606 W. Broadway Ave. Two male suspects concealed alcoholic beverages, estimated value $17, and left without paying.

Report of possible fraud. The victim, an administrator at Samaritan Hospital, said unknown suspects were making fraudulent appeals for money using her name.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 2000 block of West Spruce Street. Car was broken into sometime overnight, but nothing was taken.

Report of theft from a residence in the 800 block of Northwest Sunburst Court. Victim said packages were stolen from her porch sometime during the day.

Report of vandalism in the parking lot of a business at 517 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown female suspect bought dish soap and dumped it in the parking lot in an apparent attempt to make people fall.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 600 block of East Nelson Road. Thieves broke into a car sometime overnight and stole amplifier and two subwoofers, no value given.

Report of attempted theft from a business at 980 W. Central Drive. Male suspect took tools and ran out the door. A witness saw the theft, chased the suspect down the street, tackled him and got back the store’s merchandise. The suspect got in a car that had been waiting for him and fled the scene.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 420 S. Wanapum Dr. Vehicle 1 had died and driver was trying to roll the vehicle backwards into the parking lot. Vehicle 1 ran into vehicle 2, which was parked at a gas pump.

Dec. 16

A 32-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Washington Department of Corrections and Grant County District Court warrants.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

A 40-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after going into a business at 960 N. Stratford Rd. where he had allegedly stolen several items a few days earlier.

Report of theft from a business at 500 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown male suspect allegedly stole a bottle of alcohol and fled the scene. Suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a beard, wearing jeans, gray jacket and grey or black hat.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown juveniles allegedly stole about five bottles of liquor. The suspects left in a red passenger car.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested for burglary after she allegedly changed price tags on merchandise at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

Grant County Jail

Dec. 15

Marilou Ozune Martinez, 28, Othello, was booked into the Grant County Jail for outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for reckless driving and two counts of DUI.

Jim Steven Smith, 46, Yakima, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and making false statements, and an outstanding Okanogan County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Miguel Hernandez Sanchez, 30, Quincy, was booked for felony harassment and displaying a weapon.

Mandy Gates, 39, Ephrata, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), two counts of first-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Dec. 16

Wesley Stephenson, 41, Ephrata, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

John Cattin, 32, transient, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Jeffrey Muellner, 56, Grand Coulee, was booked for second-degree burglary and second-degree possession of stolen property.

Juan Santillan Gonzalez, 39, Othello, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for illegal recreational fishing.

Zacarias Martinez Garcia, 22, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Kenneth Warner, 52, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree criminal trespassing.

William Laroque, 34, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Jacob Morris, 21, Soap Lake, was booked for violating a no-contact order and first-degree criminal trespassing.

Wesley Stephenson, 41, Ephrata, was booked for unlawful possession of a firearm and violation of a no-contact order.
