Aug. 24

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 900 block of East Hayden Drive. Victim said a generator was stolen from the back of his work vehicle.

Report of theft at a residence in the 400 block of West Knolls Vista Drive. Victim said suspect stole his phone and credit cards from his wallet.

Report of two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North Grape Drive and West Valley Road. Driver of vehicle 1 made a left turn, failing to yield to vehicle 2.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1000 block of West Marina Drive. Victim said unknown suspect had flattened two of his vehicle tires. Estimated damage $170.

Report of theft in the 2000 block of West Broadway Avenue. Victim said he phone was stolen.

Report of one-vehicle accident at Northeast Road 4 and Northeast Dunn Street. Driver of vehicle 1 said the trailer he was towing began to swerve, he lost control of the trailer and the contents (a mower) bounced out and hit a power pole.

Officers observed a subject running from a business at 601 Pioneer Way, being chased by an employee. When the officer apprehended him, the suspect had alcohol he hadn’t paid for. He was cited for third-degree theft.

Aug. 25

Report of prowler in the 800 block of South Evergreen Drive. Reporting party woke up when suspect started knocking on the bedroom window. Reporting party found the suspect hiding in the neighbor’s bushes and chased him down the road.

An 18-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly filled a shopping cart with about $300 in merchandise at a business at 601 Pioneer Way, then pushed it out of the store without paying.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at East Wheeler Road and Northeast Bell Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was turning left onto Wheeler, and was hit by vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield right of way and driving with no car insurance.

Report of theft at a residence on South Hawthorne Drive. Reporting party’s son left a bike in the yard of a neighbor; children at the house said unknown suspect in a red truck stopped and picked up the bike. Estimated value $65.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

A 69-year-old woman was arrested for DUI. Her vehicle was towed.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant.

Aug. 26

A 32-year-old man was arrested for violating a protection order.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

A man, no age given, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A 31-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants for DUI, and other traffic offenses.

Report of burglary at a business at 1304 East Wheeler Rd. Unknown suspects cut the fence and stole items from an office area.

Report of theft at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Victim said she left her phone in a shopping cart, and when she returned to the business it was gone.

A man, no age given, was arrested for an outstanding WDOC warrant and an outstanding Grant County warrant.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1500 block of South Monroe Street. Unknown suspects broke into the vehicle overnight and stole two 12-inch speakers and an amp.

Report of hit and run accident at North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. A 12-year-old on a bicycle was crossing the street in the crosswalk. Vehicle was turning right from Mart Road to Stratford Road and hit the juvenile on the bike. Witnesses said driver was on his phone and failed to see the child and bike. Witnesses said driver stopped and asked if the child was OK, then drove away when witnesses told him that he needed to stay on scene. Driver was described as a white male, the car as a brown or tan 4-door vehicle.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant.

A woman, no age given, was arrested for second-degree assault (domestic violence).

During a traffic stop, a 30-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant and for providing false information to law enforcement. A 34-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Aug. 27

A 28-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding WDOC felony warrant.

Report of hit and run at 1400 East Yonezawa Blvd. Driver went over the roundabout, hit a sign, dragged the sign the street then abandoned the vehicle. Vehicle didn’t have license plates.

Report of vandalism in the 1100 block of South Ashley Way. Suspect allegedly slashed tire on victim’s car after an argument.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 713 North Stratford Rd. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 were traveling toward Stratford Road when driver of vehicle 1 tried to turn right into the business drive-through and hit vehicle 2.

Report of theft. Reporting party saw a car stop in the 1300 block of South Hamilton Road; the driver got out and removed a security device, and the alarm went off. Driver drove over it to break it. Upon further investigation, alarm was stolen from a business at 1400 East Yonezawa Blvd. The case is still under investigation.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault (domestic violence).

A man reported a female subject at his residence becoming violent and breaking things.

Money orders were reported stolen.

A man reported returning from fishing to find his vehicle missing.

A restaurant owner reported people breaking in and stealing things from his establishment.

A female caller reported that her brother was punching his mother and screaming.

A man reported a camera stolen from his garage.

A bull was reported running loose in the road.

A stolen golf cart was reportedly recovered.

A woman reported property stolen from her shop.

A woman reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle while she was at work.

A man reported that his wife threw a knife at his foot.

Two males, who apparently had been drinking, reportedly rode a motorcycle into a campsite completely naked.

Aug. 27

A swimming pool, filter and pool salt that had just been delivered were reportedly stolen.

A man reported that his storage unit was broken into.

Levi Storlie, 26, Soap Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections order.

Aug. 24

Emilio Hinojosa, 23, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Lisa Valdez, 39, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Javier Cardenas Garcia, no age listed, Quincy, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), second-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence), felony harassment (domestic violence) and interfering with reporting domestic violence.

Jeremy Lopez, 36, Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC commitment order to serve 51 days for DUI.
