K-9 deputy tracks down pair of alleged burglars

MOSES LAKE — One of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office’s four-legged deputies tracked down a pair of alleged home burglars early Tuesday morning.
About 4:45 a.m. a resident in the 4600 block of Road M Southeast contacted MACC Dispatch after someone attempted to break into their residence. The caller reported witnessing a vehicle leave the area and head toward Moses Lake. A vehicle matching the description of the car was located by deputies and pulled over near Road M Southeast and Road 4 Southeast.
The two occupants of the vehicle, Nadine Nicole Gerda Channell Kile, 30, and Delia. A Vasquez, 36, were questioned and ultimately released. Deputies believed a suspect might still be inside the Road M home and the residence was checked, but no suspects were located inside. Tire prints were reportedly located that were a match to Kile’s vehicle, which was still parked at Road M and Road 4.
Kile and Vasquez had reportedly fled the vehicle on foot and went into a potato field. Deputy Tyson Voss and K-9 Deputy Edo tracked and located the two suspects. Kile and Vasquez were booked into the Grant County Jail for suspicion of residential burglary.
