Aug. 11

Report of vehicle prowl in the 400 block of North Dale Road. Reporting party said chainsaw was stolen sometime within the previous two weeks, estimated value $800.

Report of vandalism committed overnight to a vehicle parked at a church at 2227 West Peninsula Dr. Unknown suspects broke two windows from the church bus and wrote graffiti on the vehicle fenders.

Report of theft at a residence in the 2100 block of West Broadway Avenue. Victim said he was missing cash and prescription drugs.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for making false statements to law enforcement, an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant and an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue. Reporting party said his skateboard, phone and MP3 player were stolen sometime in the last week.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Moses Lake Community Health, 605 South Coolidge St. Driver of vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 150 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2.

Aug. 12

A 26-year-old woman was arrested for resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement and on outstanding Grant County warrants. She was told she was being arrested on the warrants during a traffic stop, grabbed the door of her car and refused to let go.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for DUI.

Report of vehicle theft and damage at a business at 1201 E. Yonezawa Blvd. Unknown suspects came into the locked shop yard, took an unlocked vehicle and rammed through the front gate. The stolen vehicle was later recovered near the Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata. Damage to the gate estimated at $15,000.

Two 20-year-old men were cited for MIP.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 2000 block of West Spruce Street. A juvenile, no age listed, was arrested for residential burglary and theft of a firearm.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 506 East Wheeler Rd. Vehicle 2 was parked with the door open and driver of vehicle 1 hit the open door when parking.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 and driver of vehicle 2 backed into each other.

Report of theft from a business at 1224 South Pioneer Way. Male suspect was observed on video taking merchandise worth about $75.

Aug. 13

A 44-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

Report of theft. Reporting party said he left his wallet at a business at 518 West Valley Road, which was found and given to store employees. Suspect who was not the reporting party claimed the wallet and took it, but later returned it. Case is still under investigation.

Report of theft at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park, 401 South Fourth Ave. Two backpacks were allegedly stolen, containing clothing, consumer electronics, cash, debit and credit cards and identification. Estimated value about $700.

A woman reported that a subject attempted to break into her house and broke windows on the doors.

A man reported that an air conditioner had been stolen out of his window.

A woman reported a female harassing her through third parties.

A man reported that his neighbor came to his house and started swearing at him.

A woman reported that her husband was threatening to kill her.

A man reported that his vehicle appeared to have been stolen.

An unknown subject was reported dancing in the road.

A man reported two hunting dogs stolen.

A man reported that he was cleaning his ex-fiancé’s belongings out of their residence and found drugs.

A woman reported that someone left a bike in her yard.

A man reported that someone was trying to get into the back of his residence.

A woman reported someone banging on her door in the middle of the night.

Jasmine Hernandez, 21, Warden, was booked into the Grant County Jail for second-degree assault, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), interfering with reporting domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief.

Jose Macias, 19, Moses Lake, was booked for disorderly conduct.

Jacob Morris, 21, Soap Lake, was booked for violating a no-contact order.

Jeremiah Hamilton, 34, Moses Lake, was booked for making false statements, an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections order and an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft.

Brooklyn Fankhauser, 39, no address listed, was booked on a one-day commitment for DUI.

Anthony Snider, 27, Soap Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief.

Martin Diaz, 27, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Danh Hoang Muong, 55, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation (domestic violence).

Keith Klingenberg, 58, Grand Coulee, was booked for second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespassing.

Carla Peregrino, 51, Soap Lake, was booked for violation of a no-contact order and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Travis Sturtevant, 29, Wenatchee, was booked for a one-day sentence for DUI.

Sean Waters, 23, Nespelem, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

John Hale, 44, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding Kittitas County warrant.

Tony Alvarez, 20, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and two counts of third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Tabitha Hanson, 52, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Randall Gross, 24, Grand Coulee, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and on an outstanding Lincoln County warrant for DUI.
