QUINCY — A Snoqualmie woman’s alleged failure to yield led to a two-vehicle collision near Quincy on Thursday.

About 5:35 p.m. Laurel Lusuegro, 57, of Snoqualmie, was driving a 2016 Honda CRV north on Road U, about five miles west of Quincy, and attempted to make a left turn onto state Route 28. Lusuegro reportedly struck an eastbound 2008 Ford Fusion driven by Jose Rangel Valle, 32, of Quincy. The two vehicles came to a rest in the intersection, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Lusuegro, Rangel Valle and his passenger, Raquel Morales Villegas, 40, of Quincy, were injured in the collision. Valle Rangel and Morales Villegas were transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center by ambulance for treatment. Lusuegro was transported to a medical facility by a privately owned vehicle.

The CRV and Fusion sustained reportable damages and were impounded. The patrol reports Lusuegro was cited for failure to yield.
