Road delays reported on SR 28 between Quincy and Wenatchee

WENATCHEE — Travelers are experiencing “long delays” on SR 28 between Quincy and Wenatchee due to two accidents along the highway.

The Washington Department of Transportation issued an alert about noon Thursday, warning travelers of slowdowns along the road. The delays are due to two separate traffic accidents along the highway, according to the Washington State Patrol emergency dispatch center. As of 1 p.m. traffic is delayed but the road is still open.
