Aug. 7

Police responded to the 4000 block of West Peninsula Drive for a report of two dogs running at large. The dogs were located and returned to their home.

Report of an erratically driven vehicle in the area of West Valley Road and North Stratford Road. A citizen followed the vehicle, but lost sight of it. Police could not find the vehicle.

A man reported receiving strange text messages from the same phone number. The man was advised to block the phone number from his phone.

A man reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person claiming to work for the IRS.

Report of a subject possibly selling drugs in the 1100 block of East Hill Avenue from a blue Honda. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

Police contacted a dog owner who left a dog in a vehicle in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. The dog had water and was not in distress.

Report of an unknown subject looking into vehicles in the 2000 block of West Spruce Street. Police could not find the subject.

Report of shots fired in the 700 block of South Ironwood Drive. A car was stopped in the area with three subjects. No evidence was found and the subjects were released. No shell casings were found at the scene.

Aug. 8

A man was arrested for DUI in the 11000 block of East Wheeler Road.

A man was cited for hit-and-run after hitting a telephone box with his vehicle in the 1400 block of East Craig Street.

Report of a bicycle stolen from a residence in the 100 block of West Inglewood Avenue.

A woman was cited for leaving an infant and small child inside her vehicle as she went into a business in the 1000 block of West Broadway Avenue.

A man reported someone stole several items from his residence in the 600 block of South Ironwood Drive.

An unknown subject stole a $970 television from Walmart.

Report of a possible mail theft in the 200 block of West Third Avenue. Police determined no mail was stolen at the location.

Grant County Jail

Aug. 7

Tyler Redin, 22, Ephrata, was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Tyler Flores, 20, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Aug. 8

Timothy Anglin, 42, Coulee City, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and first-degree driving with a suspended license.

Carlos Thiede, 21, Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for two counts of harassment (threats to kill).

Brandon Pries, 34, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Miguel Cortez, 58, Ephrata, was booked for manufacturing marijuana.

John Willoughby, 30, transient, was booked for violation of a no-contact order.

Nicole Shenefelt, 19, Soap Lake, was booked for an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Michonda Weaver, 34, Spokane, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Phillip Wilson, 50, Omak, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Nathan Hyde, 19, Ellensburg, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree driving with a suspended license.
