Elliot Henifin Ehr

November 15, 1982 – July 26, 2017

Elliot Henifin Ehr, 34, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at home in Fort Worth, Texas on July 26, 2017. He was born Nov. 15, 1982 in Bellingham, Wash.

Elliot graduated from Sehome High School and worked for Henifin Construction and later IMCO before moving to Texas to work in his mother’s landscaping business. He later studied and worked in irrigation. Elliot was most recently employed by Brightview Landscaping in Dallas, Texas as an area supervisor. He enjoyed growing hops and home brewing beer as a hobby, and he loved boating and swimming with cousins and family on trips to Bellingham.

Elliot was preceded in death by his mother Rhonda Henifin Samudio in 2016, his grandfather Ron Henifin and grandparents Albert and Eilene Ehr. Elliot is survived by his father Greg Ehr; brothers Ethan Ehr and Isaiah Samudio; grandmother Glenda Henifin; son Kaiden and daughter Melody; Rhonda’s husband James Samudio; uncle Jaime (wife Lynne) Henifin and their children Jace, Zack, and Jessica; uncle Jacob Henifin and his daughter Iona and many loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Elliot’s life will be held at Westford’s Broadway Hall, 1300 Broadway St. in Bellingham on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. A celebration of life will also be held in Moses Lake the following Saturday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at Papa’s in the banquet room, 1165 N.
