Victoria Castro

September 8, 1924 – July 30, 2017

Victoria Castro graduated to heaven on July 30, 2017. She will forever be treasured and missed by family and friends.

Victoria was born in Benchley, Texas on Sept. 8, 1924 to Diego Gomez and Eduarda Perez.

Victoria married Cesar Roberto Castro on April 30, 1949, then moved to Moses Lake, Wash. where they started a family. She survived her late husband Cesar by 52 years.

Victoria’s life’s work and legacy was her service to her children and community and extended family. She was a dedicated mother of eight: Cesar, Rosa, Carlos, Gracie, Art, Joe, Chris and Victoria. She was also a proud grandma to 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded inn death by her husband Cesar and son Chris. She lived a full 92 years and it was truly a life worth celebrating.

Arrangements have been made for a service in honor of Victoria. Family and friends are invited to join us Aug. 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake. Rosary and viewing will began at 9:30 and service will be officiated by Father Jorge at 10 a.m.

All who knew her, knew love.
