July 31

A man, no age given, was arrested for felony harassment.

Report of burglary at a business at 2135 West Main St. Equipment, estimated value $80, and an undisclosed amount of cash were allegedly stolen.

Report of burglary in the 3000 block of Northeast Bell Road. Reporting party said unknown suspects had stolen pieces of farming equipment.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1100 block of South Balsam Street. Victim said unknown suspects pulled out and stole plants in the front yard sometime overnight. Estimated value about $30.

Report of theft from a business at 1020A N. Stratford Rd. Unidentified male stole several items, value not listed, the previous day.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of North Grape Drive and West Gary Street. Driver of vehicle 1 was making a left turn onto Grape Drive and ran into vehicle 2, northbound on Grape Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 400 block of West Fourth Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 changed lanes and ran into vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said caller told her she was eligible for a large grant.

Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident at the intersection of South Pioneer Way and East Sharon Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 failed to yield to vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 2 was transported to Samaritan Hospital for hand pain.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1200 block of West Lakeside Drive. Reporting party said prescription pills and a vaping system were missing after a guest left. Estimated value of the vape system was $250.

Report of two-vehicle, injury accident at the intersection of Third Avenue and Gumwood Street. Driver of vehicle 1 was crossing the intersection and ran into vehicle 2, driving west on Third Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 was unconscious after the crash and was transported to Samaritan Hospital. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield right of way.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Broadway Avenue and South Gumwood Street. Driver of vehicle 1 was pulling out of a parking lot and failed to yield to vehicle 2.

Report of four-vehicle, hit and run accident at a business at 715 West Third Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 hit vehicle 2, which was parked, then quickly reversed and ran into vehicle 3, which was pushed into vehicle 4. Driver of vehicle 1 then left the scene, south on Fourth Avenue. Vehicle 1 was described as a gold Honda Accord 4-door, about 1998 to 2002, with damage to the front bumper, back bumper and missing the driver’s side mirror.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Unknown subjects are calling and telling targets they owe money to Samaritan Hospital.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of vandalism at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Reporting party said unknown subject slashed two tires on her car while it was in the parking lot.

Aug. 1

A man, no age given, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of several items stolen out of a vehicle in the 600 block of South Harborview Street.

Report of a screen stolen off of an apartment window in the 600 block of South Chestnut Street.

A woman reported her ex-boyfriend almost hit her with his vehicle in the area of East Ninth Avenue and South Division Street.

Report of an older female leaving Safeway with a shopping cart full of unpurchased food.

A man reported receiving a phone call from an unknown person who claimed he knew his Social Security number and threatened to bomb his house.

A vehicle was stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of West Texas Street. The vehicle was later located unoccupied. Police do not currently have any suspects.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested for fourth-degree assault after slamming her mother's head into a refrigerator door.

Report of a bicycle stolen from the Surf 'n Slide Water Park.

A woman reported an unknown subject broke into her living room in the 1000 block of South Division Street and fled the scene. Police could not locate the suspect.

Two pit bulls were reported outside of a residence growling and preventing the homeowner from going outside.

A business reported one employee threatening another with a firearm.

A man reported that his neighbor was threatening him.

A man reported that his backpack was stolen over the weekend.

A woman reported that a male against whom she had a restraining order was violating it.

A man reported that mail was stolen from his residence.

A female caller reported that her brother punched her in the face.

A man reported that he had been robbed.

A woman reported witnessing a subject hit a dog with a belt and throw it in a car.

A puppy was reported stolen.

A man reported that his girlfriend’s purse had been stolen over the weekend.

A 4-year-old girl was reported running down the road unsupervised.

A woman reported that her house appeared to have been broken into and keys were missing.
