The Dream Team is on a roll having strung together four wins over the past two outings. On April 15, the squad beat Ephrata 1-0 in the first contest on a goal from Dusty Carlson. Othello’s Colton Schmidt slipped two goals past the Moses Lake keeper in a 2-nil victory in the second game of the day.

The Dream Team continued its winning ways April 22 with a 3-1 win over Quincy in the first fuss. Josh Lembcke struck twice for Othello. Atalle Mendoza recorded the other goal. The second game saw Hugo Arvizu, Lembcke and Nick McDonald find the back of the box in a 3-1 win over Ephrata.

Unified Sports is a part of the Special Olympics program. The Dream Team is member of the Central Washington Athletic Conference and competes with squads from Moses Lake, Ephrata, Quincy, Wenatchee and Eastmont.

The Othello team, coached by Kevin McDonald, is back in action April 29 in Quincy. District play gets underway May 6 in Moses Lake.
