Granger man involved in rollover near Othello

OTHELLO — A Granger man reportedly rolled his vehicle near Othello Thursday morning after swerving to avoid an animal.

About 7:05 a.m. Estevan Canseco, 21, of Granger, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala east on state Route 24, about 13 miles east of Othello, when he reportedly swerved to avoid an animal in the road. The Impala reportedly rolled into the eastbound SR-24 ditch, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Canseco was taken to Othello Community Hospital by ambulance as a precaution. The Impala was totaled in the collision and impounded. The patrol reports Canseco was cited for driving with his wheels off the road and not having insurance.
