April 26

A dead cat was removed from a road in the area of West Broadway Avenue and South Cedar Street.

An unknown subject was pumping gas at a gas station in the 2400 block of South Maiers Road and left the hose in their gas tank as they drove away. The driver stopped and took the hose out of their tank and left the area heading west on Interstate 90. Damage to the pump totaled about $1,000.

Police were unable to locate a subject who was allegedly carrying a gun illegally in the area of South Hawthorne Drive and East Cherry Avenue.

Report of a student at Moses Lake High School assaulting another student. Charges are going to be filed against the suspect.

Report of a student at MLHS in possession of six separate baggies of marijuana. The student was placed into custody for possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana.

A juvenile was arrested after grabbing his girlfriend around the neck and holding her against a wall.

Report of a bicycle stolen from in front of a residence in the 400 block of North Grape Drive.

Report of a fence down and across a sidewalk in the 700 block of North Central Drive. A construction crew in the area was notified of the issue.

Police received multiple reports of shots fired with a male chasing another male in the 900 block of West Central Drive. Six spent shell casings were located in the area, but no victims or suspects were found.

Report of garage door kicked in at a residence in the 300 block of West Northshore Drive and several items stolen from the garage.

Report of a rock thrown through a window in the 700 block of South Marigold Street.

Grant County Jail

April 26

Robert Day, of Elmer City, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree theft.

Jason Kneff, of Moses Lake, was booked for disorderly conduct and stalking.

Kelsy Peterson, of Kennewick, was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine and violation of a protective order.

Nicholas Brown, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.

Carlos Gutierrez, of Ephrata, was booked for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of meth and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Juanita Flores, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC warrant.
