MOSES LAKE — Three people were injured in a three-vehicle collision near Moses Lake Tuesday morning.

About 11:10 a.m., Gina Massengale, 55, of Moses Lake, was driving a 2016 Dodge Challenger north on state Route 17, about 2 miles north of Moses Lake, and stopped for roadwork on the highway. A 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by Jessica Hartman, 39, of Moses Lake, was traveling behind the Challenger and came to a stop as well.

The Caravan was struck from behind by a 2007 Jeep Commander driven by Nikeyea Razey, 19, of Ephrata, which caused the Caravan to strike the Challenger in the rear, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Razey, Hartman and Massengale were injured in the collision. Hartman and Massengale were transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment. Razey was transported to an unknown medical facility by a private vehicle. The patrol reports the cause of the accident was Razey’s inattention. Citations are pending.
