Homeless cat spay and neuter day

| April 21, 2017 1:00 AM

Sagehills Veterinary Service, in conjunction with Adams County Pet Rescue, is offering a homeless cat spay and neuter service day April 22 at Evergreen Implement in Othello.

The cost of the service is $10. The felines will also receive an ear tipping procedure and rabies vaccination. All cats being spayed or neutered must weigh over 2 pounds. The homeless cats must be able to be handled. No feral or owned cats are eligible for the spay and neuter service.

Caretakers will need to trap/catch the cats, and transport them to and from Evergreen Implement. Adams County Pet Rescue is making traps available for transport. Call (509) 855-1402 to borrow the traps.

Space is limited, so reservations are a must. Contact Deborah at Sagehills Veterinary Service, (509) 488-6206 for more information.
