Alleged drug house raided near Soap Lake

| April 21, 2017 4:00 AM

SOAP LAKE — A suspected drug dealer was arrested Wednesday morning after authorities raided his Soap Lake home.

Over the past couple of weeks members of Grant County’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) have been making undercover drug buys from Vince Cecchetti, 54, at his residence in the 40 block of state Route 28, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

INET members and officers with the Ephrata Police Department served a search warrant at the residence about 7 a.m. Wednesday morning and reportedly recovered more than 19 grams of methamphetamine, cash and property that is believed to have been traded for drugs. Cecchetti was booked into the Grant County Jail for investigation of possession of meth with intent to deliver. A school zone enhancement was added onto the charge, as Cechetti’s residence is within 1,000 feet of several school zone bus stops.
