Press Release: Candidate Filing Week begins Monday, May 15, 2017. Candidates filing in person will file at the Grant County Election Department located on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse, Room 203 beginning May 15th at 8:00 a.m. and continue through Friday May 19th at 5:00 p.m. The attached list states the positions that are open for filing for the primary to be held on August 1, 2017. A person filing a Declaration of Candidacy for an office shall, at the time of filing, possess the qualifications specified by law for persons who may be elected to the office.
