Kennewick woman arrested in prostitution sting
MOSES LAKE — A prostitution advertisement posted on the internet landed a wanted Kennewick woman behind jail bars.
Moses Lake Police Department officers recently found a prostitution advertisement on the internet, with an investigation determining 29-year-old Kristen D. Turner, of Kennewick, had placed the ad. Turner reportedly had several outstanding felony warrants out for her arrest, according to the MLPD on Wednesday.
A MLPD officer reportedly posed as a potential “client” and arranged to meet with Turner to exchange money for sex. Turner was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants when she arrived at the meeting location. She was reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine, heroin and ecstasy.
She was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding warrants for escape of community custody, possession of controlled substances, possession of stolen property, identity theft and DUI. New charges include possession of meth, possession of heroin, possession of ecstasy, prostitution and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
