COLUMBIA BASIN — Although the weather has been less than ideal over the last couple of days, forecasts are predicting favorable conditions for several area Easter egg hunts over the weekend.

Moses Lake

The Lions Club of Moses Lake will be hosting its annual hunt at McCosh Park at noon sharp on Saturday. The park will be sectioned off between different age groups for kids up to the age of 12 to gather the more than 7,000 eggs that will be spread out across the park. A section will also be designated for children who have special needs and require assistance to participate in the hunt.

The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance as well to take pictures. The Lions Club is partnering with the Lioness Club of Moses Lake, the Moses Lake Robotics Team and Cub Scout Pack No. 67 to offer the free event to the public.

Warden

The Warden Lions Club and the Leo chapter at Warden High School will team up to sponsor the annual community Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Warden High School football field, 101 Beck Way.
