3 Mattawa churches to combine for Easter

MATTAWA — Local congregations of the Mattawa and Desert Aire communities plan to combine for an Easter celebration on Sunday, April 16, to be held at the Priest Rapids Recreational Area Campground and Park.

It will be held at 7 a.m. The park is situated in Desert Aire.

The gathering will happen just above the shore and below the camping area. There will be music, singing, prayer, and a message from the Scriptures.

The leading participants so far are from the congregations of Grace Lutheran Church, Riverside Community Church and Saddle Mountain Bible Church.

There will also be a community Easter breakfast, after worship, at 8 a.m. This will be held at the Sage Brush Senior Center, on Desert Aire Dr. in Desert Aire.

These events are free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
