Othello Softball 15-11, Wapato 0-0

WAPATO — Mariah Deleon hit a grand slam in the opener and Othello (4-2, 4-2) cruised to a sweep of Wapato 15-0 and 11-0.

Deleon’s grand slam was one of her two home runs in Game 1. Cayleen Garza also went deep. Janissa Garza, Malayah Sauceda and Rilee Heist had two hits each.

Paulina Nunez threw a no-hitter in the second game with eight strikeouts and Ebony Guzman hit a home run. Janissa Garza was 3-for-4.
