April 5

Report of a vehicle speeding in the area of West Loop Drive and North Central Drive. Police could not locate the vehicle.

Report of two homeless subjects trespassing on private property in the 900 block of East Nelson Road. The subjects were contacted by police and asked to leave the area.

A woman reported several items were stolen out of her vehicle in the 600 block of South A Street.

Two barrels of used motor oil fell off of the bed of a flatbed truck on West Broadway Avenue as the driver made a turn and another vehicle turned into his lane. Approximately 250 gallons of oil was spilled. The Moses Lake Fire Department, Department of Ecology and Department of Transportation responded to the scene.

A resident in the 1000 block of South Dahlia Drive advised their neighbor was smoking marijuana on the street. The subject was contacted and advised of the issue.

Report of a subject attempting to cash a stolen check at Umpqua Bank on East Fourth Avenue. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was not located.

A man told police he believes some packages were stolen off of his porch in the 1700 block of South Beaumont Drive.

A man reported someone attempted to break a door on his property in the 400 block of North Clover Drive. The alleged suspect was not located.

A woman was trespassed from WinCo Foods after attempting to steal $7 worth of items from the store.

Grant County Jail

April 6

Sylvestre Mendez, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and third-degree theft.

Nicholas Goble, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for DUI and third-degree theft.

Robert Hall, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

Alexa McLaughlin, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Hagadorn, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for residential burglary, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
