Wahluke Slope to experience power outage Monday

MATTTAWA – Grant PUD is scheduling a planned power outage at the Wahluke Substation on Monday, Sept. 26, at 9:30 a.m. for a duration of less than 15 minutes.

According to publicist Chuck Allen, the substation must be taken off-line so Grant PUD crews can perform necessary transmission system work. The outage will affect about 500 customers in the Wahluke Slope area.
