Crosswalk annual fall barbecue set

OTHELLO – The Othello First Presbyterian Church is gearing up for its fall programs, starting with the Crosswalk annual fall barbecue on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Newcomers of all ages are welcome, Pastor Becky Anderson said. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. There will be a bounce house and crafts for the children.

The Crosswalk Program will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 28, with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by worship and age-level groups at 6:30. That will include an adult study on “Prophets and Kings” led by Pastor Becky Anderson.

A new small group study will begin on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. The study topic will be “God Is Closer Than You Think,” using a brief video by Rev. John Ortberg and discussion of ways to deepen your spiritual journey.
