Quincy irrigation water turnoff date announced Irrigation season ends Oct. 26 in Quincy

QUINCY — October 26 will be the turnoff date for irrigation water in the Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District.

The last date for water changes will be Oct. 24, and Oct. 25 will be the last full day of water delivery, irrigation district manager Darvin Fales said. The water will be turned off at the West Canal head Oct. 26.

Farmers who have questions on the schedule can contact the local ditch rider or area watermaster, Fales said.
