Sept. 8

Report of theft from a residence in the 1000 block of West Charlotte Street. Unknown male suspect jumped the fence into the backyard, broke off and stole the victim's surveillance camera. Cost of the camera was estimated at $150.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1200 block of Northeast Fairway Drive. Victim said unknown suspects searched his car; items were removed from the vehicle but nothing was taken.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said they received a message on the answering machine saying they owed money to the Internal Revenue Service.

Report of theft from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 4700 block of West Warbler Street sometime overnight. Victim said unknown suspect broke into her car and stole her purse. The purse contained the victim's phone, credit and debit cards, cash and electronic equipment. Value of the loss was estimated at about $1,200.

Report of a vehicle stolen on West Craig Street. Car's license plate was listed as ATB7046.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 825 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 was backing up in the parking lot and was hit by vehicle 2, driving through the lot.

A man, age not given, was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and an outstanding Grant County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of a dispute at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. A 37-year-old man and an 18-year-old man allegedly got into a verbal, then physical dispute outside the business. The 37-year-old allegedly made inappropriate comments to the 18-year-old's girlfriend.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County and Ellensburg warrants.

Sept. 9

Report of a break-in at a school at 2406 West Texas St. Sometime overnight an unknown suspect broke the lock on an outdoor shed. Unknown what, if any, items were taken.

Report of damage to a fence in the 600 block of South A Street. Driver backed into the fence, causing minor damage.

Report of two-vehicle accident at the corner of South Hawthorne and East Plum streets. Drivers of vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 entered the intersection at the same time. Driver of vehicle 1 was taken to Samaritan Healthcare.

Report of possible phone fraud. Victim said an unknown suspect had left a message on her phone saying she had to pay an outstanding warrant, but she had no warrants.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Grand Drive and South Hawthorne Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 didn't see the yield sign or vehicle 2, and ran into vehicle 2's driver side back fender.

Report of attempted theft from a business at 815 North Stratford Rd. Suspect was observed attempting to open a package with a pair of scissors stolen from a different aisle.

Report of theft from a residence in the 600 block of South Pacific Street. Victim said a 9-year-old child had stolen a tablet from the residence about two weeks earlier.

Report of theft from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Suspect allegedly stole five bottles of alcohol.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Report of possible vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of East Craig Street. Two suspects were observed by witnesses breaking into a vehicle. Law enforcement contacted two suspects, both juveniles, both apparently intoxicated. One suspect was arrested on an outstanding Grant County Juvenile warrant; charges pending for the second suspect.

Sept. 10

A 36-year-old woman was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrants for second degree theft and vehicle theft.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1800 block of West Crouse Street. Victim said unknown suspect broke into her car and stole her purse, but it had nothing of value in it. Value of the purse was estimated at $50.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 4000 block of West Cove West Drive. Victim said his vehicle were searched sometime overnight, but no items were taken.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 4000 block of West Cove West Drive. Victim said a laptop computer, estimated value $500, was stolen from the car.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 2 was northbound on Alder when pedestrians crossed the road in front of preceding vehicles. Driver of vehicle 1 didn't stop and ran into vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1, a 52-year-old man, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a residence in the 3000 block of West Sage Road. Driver of vehicle 1 backed out of a parking spot and hit a parked car.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 700 block of North Schooner Court. Victim said unknown suspects broke into a trailer that was full of cardboard being stored for recycling. Nothing was taken.

Report of attempted burglary in the 1300 block of East Oasis Circle. Victim said someone had attempted to pry open the lock on side garage door and kick the door in, but didn't gain entry.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 1700 block of West Fern Drive. Suspects stole a tablet, value estimated at $450, and $10 in cash.

A 51-year-old man was arrested for second-degree criminal trespassing after he refused to leave the premises of a business at 503 South Adams St.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Adams County warrant.

Report of possible prescription drug theft. Reporting party said she had left full bottles of prescription medication in her motorhome, which broke down on I-90 and was towed. When she picked up the motorhome from the tow yard, the medicine allegedly was missing.

Report of two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of a business at 911 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 suffered a seizure and hit a second vehicle, two signs and the business building.

Report of tires slashed on a vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of West Sixth Avenue.

A 32-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Three-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of South Skyline Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 crossed into the opposite lane and hit vehicle 2, which ran into vehicle 3. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for DUI.

A truck was reportedly broken into and the keys and stereo stolen.

A large bull was reported walking down the road.

A female complainant reported that her boyfriend told her he had been kidnapped at gunpoint and a bag put over his head, and had been driven around by his abductors for three hours.
