Sept. 9
A man reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of South Harborview Street and went through his glove box and center console. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle or damaged.
Report of a fence cut at a residence in the 1100 block of West Gary Street.
Report of numerous items stolen out of a truck in the 3200 block of West Wapato Drive.
A man advised he received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the U.S. government. The caller reportedly stated the reporting party qualified for a $9,000 grant and gave the reporting party a phone number to call and claim it.
A woman reported an unknown person stole her identity and attempted to open up an account in her name in Texas.
Report of an unknown man walking out of Safeway with a shopping cart full of alcohol. The man told the store's manager he forgot his wallet. The man left the store and did not return.
Report of an unknown subject entering a parked vehicle in the Walmart parking lot and stealing two sets of keys.
A woman reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person claiming to be with the IRS.
Moses Lake police assisted Lincoln County deputies with locating and apprehending a man wanted in Lincoln County. The suspect was located in Moses Lake and taken into custody.
Report of several items stolen out of an apartment in the 200 block of East Seventh Avenue.

A pit bull was reported running at large with blood on its neck.
A business reported that a burglary had taken place over the weekend.
A female complainant reported being harassed at an orchard.
A woman reported attempting to pick up her mother’s belongings from the mother’s former residence, and that a male wouldn’t allow her to.
An iPhone was reported stolen at Big Bend Community College.
A rental truck with two occupants was reported sitting on the side of the road for a long time.
A man reported that when he came home his ex-wife began hitting him and breaking things in the house.

A man reported that his daughter had gone to Denny’s at 11 p.m. and had not returned as of 3:31 a.m.
A man reported he and his roommate’s vehicles was broken into overnight.
Grant County Jail
Sept. 7
Bryon Bartholomew, 23, a transient, was arrested for an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for third-degree theft.
Michael Barajas, 20, of Othello, was arrested for first-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Jesus Morales, 29, of Royal City, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for driving without identification.
Jesus Ozuna, 18, of Royal City, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.
Giovanni Powell, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for unlawful imprisonment and harassment.
Eric Castro, 31, a transient, was arrested for first-degree malicious mischief and interfering with a health care facility.
