Republican women to meet Tuesday

MOSES LAKE — Tom Taylor, candidate for Grant County commissioner, will be the featured speaker at the September meeting of the Republican Women of Grant County. The meetings is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Moses Lake Senior Center, 608 East Third Ave., Moses Lake.

Taylor is running for the District No. 2 seat on the commission, currently held by Carolann Swartz. She did not file for reelection.

Taylor and Nathan Pack, Moses Lake, are running for the seat.

Taylor is a Grant County native and Moses Lake High School graduate. He was a Moses Lake firefighter for 25 years before retiring in 2015.

Admission is free.
