Sept. 2
Report of burglary at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Burglars disassembled a front door lock sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m., and stole glasses and sunglasses, estimated value $10,000.
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 800 block of Evelyn Drive. Victim said one tire on each of his vehicles had been slashed.
Report of kayak, valued at about $600, missing from the backyard of a residence in the 2200 block of West Lakeside Drive. Kayak was stolen sometime after May.
A 16-year-old girl was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A 46-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly was caught swapping price tags at a business at 1224 South Pioneer Way.
Report of theft from a business at 1201 South Pioneer Way. Victim said her wallet was stolen while she was in the business. Wallet is described as brown and pink and contained an undisclosed amount of cash, ID and a debit card.
Report of a burglary in the 2100 block of West Peninsula Drive. Unknown suspect broke a window and searched the house; suspect stole jewelry, three pairs of new shoes and picture frame.
A 24-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, threats against law enforcement and third-degree assault after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a business at 819 West Third Ave. and attempted to flee the scene.
Sept. 3
Report of a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of South Laguna Drive. Registered owner said he was unaware the car was gone until it was involved in a hit and run in a different jurisdiction.
Report of sexual assault in the 1000 block of West Marina Drive. The case is still under investigation.
Report of theft at a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Suspect was observed loading a cart with liquor and leaving the business. A 30-year-old man was contacted and admitted committing the theft, and said he had just been released from jail for committing the same offense at the same location. He was arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.
Report of theft from a business at 937 West Broadway Ave. Suspect rented equipment and paid for it with an inactive credit card. The victim said one of the items that was rented was not returned. Loss was estimated at $2,500.
Report of vandalism in the 800 block of North Evelyn Drive. Victim had tires slashed on the car for the second time in two days.
Report of theft from a vehicle in the parking lot of a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Victim said her purse was stolen from her car. A suspect allegedly was identified from video surveillance.
Report of theft from an employee's vehicle at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Victim said she hadn't moved her vehicle between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and when she came out she found damage to her vehicle and items, estimated value $65, had been stolen.
Sept. 4
A 35-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for DUI and driving without headlights.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Airway Drive and Valley Road. Driver of vehicle 1 made a left turn onto Airway Drive, then attempted to pull into the right lane to let an ambulance go through. He hit vehicle 2, damaging the driver's side rear.
Two-vehicle, non-injury accident on West Broadway Avenue at freeway exit 174. Driver of vehicle 1 turned left at the stop sign and ran into vehicle 2, which was driving down Broadway.
Report of vandalism at a business at 113 East Broadway Avenue. Business owner said unknown suspects damaged the locks, rendering them inoperable.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 900 block of East Wheeler Road. Two vehicles were traveling west on Wheeler; driver of vehicle 1 attempted to change lanes and hit vehicle 2.
Report of car and bicycle accident in the 2000 block of South Leanne Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 was traveling north when a juvenile came out of a driveway and hit the car on the passenger side. Juvenile jumped off the bike prior to the collision, but didn't require medical attention at the scene.
Report of vandalism in the parking lot at the ballfields at 933 West Central Drive. Car had been parked in the lot for a few days and when police arrived they found a rear side window had been broken out. Suspects fled the scene.
Sept. 5
A 38-year-old man was arrested for on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and third-degree driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop.
A man, no age given, was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) after a domestic dispute. Police took custody of a gun from the residence that was found to be stolen from Mabton.
Report of break-in and vandalism at a business at 4421 West Prichard Rd. Unknown suspects entered the bathroom sometime overnight and did damage to the interior.
Report of theft from a construction site on North Paxson Drive. Unknown suspects broke the window on a truck parked at the site and stole tools, amount of loss still to be determined.
Report of vehicle stolen from the parking lot of a business at 980 North Central Dr. Victim said he left the truck overnight due to engine trouble. Vehicle is described as a red pickup with a black steel front bumper and a missing tire on the back tire rack.
Report of check fraud at a business at 1810 East Kittleson Rd. Suspects cashed checks on a nonexistent account.
Report of burglary at a residence in the 800 block of South Juniper Drive. Unknown suspects pried open a door sometime in the previous week and stole an ATV from the garage.
Report of burglary from a storage unit at 9929 Northeast Kinder Rd. Theft occurred sometime within the last two months. Unknown suspects forced open the door and stole undisclosed items.
A 40-year-old man was arrested for resisting arrest after he allegedly threatened to burn a family member's house down and was uncooperative with police.
Report of counterfeit $20 used in a transaction at a business at 1201 South Pioneer Way.
A 42-year-old man was being sought for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) following a domestic dispute.
Report of possible mail fraud in the 1300 block of South Judith St. Reporting party said she thought she was receiving fraudulent charitable appeals.
Report of attempted telephone fraud at a business at 518 East Wheeler Rd. Caller claimed to be from the PUD and demanded immediate payment of an alleged overdue bill. The owner refused to pay.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 200 block East Ninth Avenue. Victim said someone broke into her car sometime between 4 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and stole her work apron with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Broadway and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 2 stopped for a pedestrian crossing against the light, and driver of vehicle 2 was unable to stop in time, bumping vehicle 1.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding warrant for DUI.
Report of single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Northeast Hansen Road and West Sage Road. Driver failed to negotiate the turn and hit a road sign and damaged a wood pole. Damage estimated at about $200.
