Sept. 1

A man reportedly stole a woman's walker as she shopped at Walmart using one of their electric carts. The woman said she does not want to press charges against the man and only wants her walker back.

A woman reported collecting several pills that were scattered throughout her backyard in the 600 block of South Balsam Street.

A woman reported someone cashed one of her checks.

A man reported sometime over night an unknown suspect wrote on the driver side windows of his vehicle in the 200 block of North Dale Road.

A real estate company reported an unknown suspect threw a rock through the outer panes of a plate glass window on the back of one of their properties in the 500 block of North Crestview Drive. No evidence of entry into the house was detected.

Police responded to the 1200 block of South Ashley Way for a report of a suspicious person. Officers checked the area, but did not find the subject in question.

Report of "loud voices" in the 1100 block of South Grand Drive. Officers did not hear any loud voices while they were in the area.

A woman advised police of a loud noise in the 300 block of North Dale Road. The noise was found to stem from a transformer blowing.

A man was contacted for warrants outside of a broken-down vehicle in the area of Beacon Road Northeast and Grape Drive Northeast. Methamphetamine was reportedly found on the man before he was arrested.

John Herrera, 46, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on three outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for DUI.

Victor Sanchez, 30, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Lamar Wynn, 20, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for second-degree theft.

Jacob Conner, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for obstruction and an outstanding warrant out of Benton County.

Alvaro Cortez, 33, of Walla Walla, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

James Ferguson, 47, of Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for first-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree vehicle prowling.

Enrique Salazar, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a Department of Correction secretary's warrant for probation violation.

Pablo Mendoza Jr., 24, of Othello, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and third-degree theft.

Rojelio Serna, 61, of Othello, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Jonathan Anderson, 39, of Grand Coulee, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding warrant out of Douglas County.

Jose Sanchez, 20, of Soap Lake, was booked for third-degree malicious mischief.

Jhonatha Rocha, 22, of Mattawa, was arrested and booked for third-degree theft.

Andres Rocha, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked for possession of meth and two outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and third-degree theft.

Maria Reyes, 30, of Quincy, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

Brian McKinney, 26, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief.
