Moses Lake Police Department

Oct. 26

A student at Moses Lake High School had a knife with an illegal 5-inch blade.

A woman reported being stopped behind a semi-truck on East Kittleson Road. The semi reportedly rolled back and collided with the front of the woman's car. The driver of the semi left the area when the traffic light he was stopped at turned green. Police believe the semi-truck driver likely did not know he had hit another vehicle.

Police contacted a man who was camping in a swamp area behind Safeway. The subject was warned and informed about trespassing, illegal dumping and camping in city limits. The man agreed to leave the area.

Report of items stolen from a residence in the 800 block of East Olive Avenue sometime between Oct. 24 and Oct. 26.

Report of a vehicle stolen out of the Walmart parking lot.

A man was permanently trespassed from Dollar Tree at the request of management after he allegedly asked customers in the store for money and drugs.

Two juveniles were caught by a manager at Safeway attempting to steal alcohol. The alcohol was recovered and the suspects fled the scene.

A man requested extra patrols on North Mississippi Drive after hearing kids running through yards in the area.

Report of a blue mini van blocking traffic on West Broadway Avenue and West Marina Drive. The driver of the van advised police she was driving to work when her passenger side door fell off.

Report of two unknown subjects possibly doing drugs in a truck in the 600 block of North Stratford Road. The subjects were gone when police arrived at the scene.

Oct. 26

A hit-and-run was reported to have occurred overnight.

A man reported that his vehicle was prowled during the night.

A business reported items stolen from outside.

A wallet was reported stolen.

A woman reported that her mail was stolen.

A business reported that it had sent a male home for being intoxicated, and the subject refused a taxi and instead got into his own vehicle.

A woman reported that her neighbor was yelling at workers who were at her residence, and when she asked the neighbor to stay out of her yard the neighbor answered with an obscenity.

A man reported that someone had broken into his residence while nobody was home.

A woman reported that she had an argument with her ex and was now stuck without transportation.

Oct. 26

Jonathan Stecher, 32, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Franklin County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Jesus Ibarra, 21, of Othello, was booked for violating a no-contact order.

Cody Miller, 24, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Tyler Stark, 20, of Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

David Harris, 44, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for probation violation.

Leslie Morgan, 35, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Emmanuel Castellanos, 36, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for violating a protection order, witness tampering and inferring with reporting of domestic violence.

Armando Rubio, 29, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Enrique Salazar, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of heroin.

Luis Martinez, 22, of Warden, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for first-degree negligent driving.

Alfredo Gomez, 54, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Franklin County warrant for violating community custody.

Oct. 27

Arthur Smith, 36, of Appleton, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Laura Goff, 49, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Andres Rodriguez, 65, of Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree defrauding a public utility.

Kevin West, 60, of Graham, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Miguel Aguilera Jr., 29, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.
