Oct. 25

A business in the 1500 block of East Wheeler Road reported an unknown person cut through their back fence and stole a fuel card.

Report of a window broken out at a residence in the 500 block of North Pennsylvania Street. No one was found inside the house.

A woman reported an unknown suspect gained entry into her storage unit in the 1200 block of South Pioneer Way and stole several of her belongings.

A woman was caught concealing items in a large purse inside a business in the 2700 block of West Broadway Avenue. The woman was permanently trespassed from the business.

Jack in the Box reported an unknown woman entered their lobby and asked to get water from their fountain machine. Employees reported witnessing the woman get Gatorade from the machine.

A man was arrested for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief after grabbing a woman by the hair and throwing her to the ground. The man reportedly got on top of the woman and pressed his forearm into the victim's throat. The victim did not want to press charges.

Report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 1100 block of West Broadway Avenue. The vehicle was located and no violations were observed.

A small black wallet containing methamphetamine was found in the Walmart parking lot.

A man with warrants out for his arrest was contacted driving a vehicle in the 4400 block of Airway Drive Northeast. Another man responded to the scene to take custody of the vehicle, but the man was found to have warrants out for his arrest as well and was taken into custody.

A landlady reported that her tenants had puled up to the house they rent from her in what she thought might be a stolen truck.

A church reported that someone came to their patio during the night and set up chairs at the fountain.

A man reported that someone was trying to break into his residence.

A vehicle was reportedly damaged overnight.

A woman reported that her neighbors had killed her dog.

A woman reported that her children’s father tried to beat her up.

A male subject was reported walking around empty houses.

A woman reported that a male and a female subject was harassing her by coming onto her property and making obscene gestures.

A man reported subjects hunting on his land without permission.

A man reported that a juvenile was trying to sell guns in an area that had had trouble with break-ins.

A woman reported suspected drug activity at a location with no power and five subjects in the backyard.

A woman reported that she had heard knocks on her window three different times. She said she was at home alone with her children and was holding a knife for protection.

Oct. 25

Two male subjects reportedly stole pizza from a delivery driver.

A female caller reported that her brother had gone over tho the neighbor’s house, broken into their car and turned it on.

A woman was reportedly walking toward a field yelling, using racial epithets and threatening to stab people.

Three stray llamas were reported wandering loose.

A man reported that someone was stalking him with a loaded weapon.

A female caller reported that she and her boyfriend were in an argument and he pushed her against a table, injuring her hand and tailbone.

A woman reported receiving threats on Facebook.

A man reported that his neighbor’s dog was running loose.

Grant County Jail

Oct. 25

Hector Barajas, 32, of Moses Lake, turned himself in on a Grant County Superior Court commitment for fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.

Heather Howard, 29, of Auburn, was arrested for three outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for harassment, violation of a no-contact order and third-degree theft.

Sherrad Lahd, 32, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCSC commitment for harassment.

Joseph Cunningham, 43, no city of residence listed, was arrested and booked on a Department of Corrections order of arrest and detention for probation violation.

Deanna Ortiz, 25, a transient living in Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Jose Sanchez, 21, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief.

Aaron Smith, 26, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

Tony Alvarez, 19, no city of residence listed, was arrested and booked for possession of 40 grams or less of marijuana and three outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

Israel Pineda, 46, of Othello, was arrested and booked for violation of a protection order.

Jose Nunez, 21, no city of residence listed, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
