Oct. 23

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1600 block of South Skyline Drive. Unidentified suspects were interrupted and fled on foot.

A woman, no age given, was arrested for DUI. Her vehicle was towed.

Report of burglary at a church at 1849 Northeast Nelson Rd. Numerous doors were forced open, but only items stolen were chocolate bars from an office.

Report of wallet stolen from a residence in the 500 block of North Fig Street.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 8500 block of Northeast Vince Road. Computer and electronic tablets stolen, no estimated value.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 911 North Stratford Rd. Female suspect stole a pair of shoes and fled the scene.

Report of vehicle prowl at a business at 911 North Stratford Rd. Victim said vehicle appeared to have been searched while she was at work.

Report of garbage (car windshields) being dumped in the garbage bin at a business at 1317 South Pioneer Way.

Report of window broken out of a business at the intersection of West Marina Drive and West Broadway Avenue. Four unknown suspects broke out the front window and stole a bong, estimated value $70.

Oct. 24

Report of vehicle theft in the 200 block of West Loop Drive. Victim left her car warming up in the driveway and came back out to see vehicle driving away. It was later recovered at Road B.5.

Report of vehicle theft from a business at 3645 East Broadway Ave. Victim said unknown suspects broke into the fenced shopyard, stole a vehicle and drove it through the fence. Four bikes were located outside the fence, and two of them had been reported as stolen.

Report of bikes stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of West Gary Street. Both bikes were later recovered at the scene of an auto theft case, and were returned to their owners.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Suspect swapped tags on merchandise and was stopped as he left. After he was arrested he was found to be in possession of methamphetamines. The suspect, a 35-year-old man, was booked for possession of controlled substances and second-degree burglary.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the Moses Lake Post Office, West Third Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2, which was parked,

Report of theft in progress at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Suspect fled out the back of the building with merchandise before officers arrived.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Division Street and East Fifth Avenue. Both drivers said they thought the light was green, entered the intersection and ran into each other.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Clover Street and East Yonezawa Boulevard. Driver of vehicle 1 started through the roundabout and was hit by vehicle 2.

Report of burglary in the 600 block of North Florida Drive. Victim said gun safe and contents were stolen from her residence sometime between 12:30 and 6 p.m. Safe is a First Alert, gray with a combination lock and Smith & Wesson, Ruger and Texas stickers on the front. The contents are a Savage 12-gauge shotgun with a pistol grip, Morlia 30/30 lever action rifle, old 303 rifle, maker not listed, Ruger SR9 9mm pistol and Smith & Wesson SD 40 40mm pistol. Value of stolen items was estimated at about $2,000.

Report of vehicle prowl in the parking lot of a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Victim said she went into the store for about 20 minutes, and when she returned a backpack with laptop, shoes and child's diaper bag had been stolen.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Two suspects pretended to scan items through the self-checkout. Both women were cited.

A male reported that someone was shooting at his house, and that he had heard nine gunshots but couldn't see anyone. He told officers that he had a gun and would shoot if someone tried to shoot him.

A man reported that there was a prostitute on his property and he wanted her arrested.

A woman reported that her oldest son, who has anger issues, punched a hole in the kitchen window.

A man reported that someone had thrown a rock through his car window and left a note on the car.

A man reported that he had had a verbal argument with his girlfriend and she broke several of his things.

Richard Cheromiah, 33, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Oct. 23

Thomas Wawers, 48, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Thomas Saunders, 54, Ephrata, was arrested for first-degree burglary (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Itzel Morales Hernandez, 21, Mattawa, was booked for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Marcos Gomes, 26, Quincy, was booked for residential burglary and third-degree malicious mischief.

Toribio Hernandez, Jr., 40, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Agustin Estrada, 21, Warden, was booked for two counts of forgery and one count of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Zachary Littlejohn, 28, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Jeremy McCurdy, 34, no address given, was booked for second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

Sashea Hollis, 20, no address given, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Charletta Braziel, 39, Soap Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Veronica Gutierrez, 24, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Daniel Guzman Coreas, Jr., 25, Soap Lake, was booked on second-degree possession of stolen property and possession of controlled substances.

Mary Wilson, 46, Soap Lake, was booked for violation of a court order.

Erik Castellanos, 20, Moses Lake, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Porfio Armenta, Jr., 23, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for first-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without ignition interlock.

Gregory Ewing, 57, Soap Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrants for possession of methamphetamines and third-degree assault against a law enforcement officer.
