Oct. 20

Police contacted a man who was sleeping in a vehicle in the area of West Wall Street and South Russell Avenue. The man was advised he could not camp on city property.

Report of a hit-and-run collision at Yonezawa Boulevard and South Division Street. The suspect vehicle was abandoned at the scene after hitting a light pole. A glass smoking device was found at the scene along with a bag containing a white substance. Police could not contact the registered owner of the vehicle.

Report of a subject stealing hoses in the area of South Alder Street and East Fourth Avenue. The subject was determined to be a city employee who was working a job.

Report of an aggressive driver in the area of North Stratford Road and West Valley Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.

A mobile home park manager advised of four juveniles acting disorderly in the 2000 block of West Broadway Avenue. While an MLPD officer was at the scene, the four subjects reportedly made derogatory remarks toward the park manager. The subjects were told to leave the area for the rest of the day.

A man reported another man was threatening to beat him up. The suspect was contacted and advised to leave the alleged victim alone.

Police responded to Walmart where two juveniles rang up $63 worth of items in the self-service checkout lane, but failed to pay for the items. The juveniles were released to their parents.

Oct. 20

Snow tires were reported stolen from storage.

A woman reported that a male subject who was restrained from seeing his children was at her location with them.

A woman reported medication stolen from her vehicle.

Jewelry was reportedly stolen on Oct. 7.

A woman reported two apparently male subjects in dark clothing walking around shining lights in yards.

Grant County Jail

Oct. 20

Marcos Guzman, 27, of Sunnyside, was arrested for an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Ruben Sabedra, 28, no city of residence listed, was arrested for an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for third-degree assault.

Brian Fiess, 65, of Ephrata, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for two counts of harassment.

Vernon Little, 37, of Moses Lake, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Felicia Eyle, 33, of Tacoma, was arrested for an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Anthony Castro, 25, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

Iliana Magana, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and three outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of driving without a valid operators license and two counts of fourth-degree assault.

David Harris, 44, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a Department of Corrections order.

Oct. 21

Jennica Sam, 21, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for driving without a valid operator's license.

Levi Redd, 29, of Grand Coulee, was arrested and booked for residential burglary, harassment, threats to kill and third-degree malicious mischief.
