Judge David Estudillo – in his own words

| October 20, 2016 1:00 AM

Throughout my campaign, it has been difficult to hear and read opinions — stated as absolute “facts” — offered by those seeking to sway perceptions of who I am and my judicial qualifications. Particularly peculiar are opinions offered by predecessors who admit they have never visited my courtroom. In wading through these opinions, one thing is clear — no one ever states that my level of performance as a judge has been anything other than competent and honorable.

I have worked hard to perform my judicial role thoughtfully and diligently and to be a credit to the judiciary — while still campaigning every day. I take my oath seriously and have chosen to avoid typical politics. Just look at my Facebook page to see how I have focused on my values, my character, and the work I have performed for more than a year.

I have strong local support. I am the only candidate with endorsements from both the Grant County Republican Party and the Democratic Party – proof that I am focused on the law and my values, not politics. I am proud to have support from leaders like Sen. Judy Warnick (R), former Sen. Joyce Mulliken (R), Prosecuting Attorney Garth Dano (R), numerous city council members, local business owners, and regular citizens who see that I am just like them and treat everyone with respect. My goal is to continue to be a judge for all people in Grant County.

Lastly, I am proud of who I am and my parents’ humble beginnings. Just as my parents did, I believe in the promises of the United States, and I ask for your vote based on my character, my values, my experience, and my performance as your judge. These have been, and continue to be, the core of my campaign.
