Othello Beautification Committee recognizes 25 with “Door Hangers”

OTHELLO – Members of the Othello Beautification Committee were out and about in the community last Thursday morning selecting recipients of the Citizen Appreciation Door Hanger.

This recognition goes to homeowners who maintain well-kept, colorful, landscaped yards. Twenty-five homes were randomly selected to receive the door hanger in acknowledgment of their work.

The door hanger is how the Beautification Committee expresses appreciation to members of the community who put forth the effort to maintain attractive yards.

“This effort makes a positive difference with the overall appearance of Othello, and for that we are grateful,” OBC co-founder Dave Sperl said. “Thank you, community members, and keep up the good work. We notice.”
