learn the early signs of alzheimer's
The Alzheimer’s Association will be holding a workshop, Know the 10 Signs of Alzheimer’s, to help people see and understand the early signs of Alzheimer’s disease, on Monday, Oct. 17, at the Moses Lake Public Library beginning at 7 p.m.
“If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts,” the society said in a press release.
Early detection is important, according to the statement, because that gives those afflicted time to “begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future.”
The workshop is scheduled to last two hours. For more information, call Laurie at Summer Woof Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, 509-764-1900, or Joan Acres at the Alzheimer’s Association, 509-713-3390.
