Methodists' chili feed this Saturday
ROYAL CITY – The annual community chili feed, sponsored by the Royal City United Methodist Church and Templo de Fe Church, will be held at the Royal City Community Center this Saturday, Oct. 15.
Chili, chili dogs, hot dogs, salad, cornbread, ice cream, lemonade, coffee and tea will be served between 5 and 8 p.m. The charge will be your donation. The RCCC is located at the golf course.
“Feel welcome to come straight from the fields,” the church’s Alice Parker said.
As usual, funds raised by the chili feed will go toward building improvements at the church. This year they will be used to complete the effort to make the church handicap-accessible.
