Notice of Application Date of Notice: October 7, 2016 Notice is hereby given that the JARPA SSDP received on 9/2/16 from Richard & Arlene Genzel was found to be technically complete on 10/4/16. Grant County expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROPOSED MITIGATION MEASURES: 1. Limit the size of the project to the minimum amount necessary. 2. Comply with the planting plan submitted with the project to ensure a no net loss of shoreline ecological function (approximately 550 sq. ft. of plantings). 3. Construction shall be done during the annual draw-down (when the water level is low enough to allow work with minimal disturbance of lands below the Ordinary High Water Mark). 4. Best management practices for control of erosion and sedimentation shall be implemented for the project. PROJECT: The project is proposing to install an 8-ft. by 26-ft. (208 sq. ft.) dock with approximately 8-ft. by 17-ft. boat lift and 4-ft. by 50-ft. boat ramp. The project also includes some rock relocation and required mitigation. City of Moses Lake Notice of Application and Public Hearing Wheeler Corridor Business Park Major Plat: Greg Haynes of Chrisjen Enterprises LLC submitted an application for a preliminary plat and conditional use permit on June 8, 2016. Additional required information was submitted June 17, June 27, and Sept. 29. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review Oct. 4.
